SCOUTING FOR FOOD

A Scout is Helpful and has a Duty to Others
Since the food pantries are more in need now than ever before, our council has found a way to safely run a Scouting for Food Drive.
Next time your parents get groceries, if they can afford to, purchase a few extra items for the food pantry.
Mrs Aziz and Mrs. Freeman will have collection boxes on their porches. We will safely take the food to the food pantry for you.
Take pictures of you collecting the food or delivering it to one of our houses. Post it, with your parent’s permission, to social media using the hashtag #GardenStateScoutsHelp
Spread the word. While it’s not safe to go door to door dropping off and collecting bags, you can direct your friends and neighbors to our houses for drop off or just encourage them to donate food items/money to their local food pantries.
We will be collecting food from now until May 19, which they have designated as the delivery date in honor of those fighting Covid-19.
Mrs. Aziz’s address: 7 Windham Drive, Eastampton
Mrs. Freeman’s address: 28 Cherokee Trail, Burlington
Thank you, Troop 36! Stay Safe and Be Well.
